Kevin Desrosiers’ passion in life is to challenge himself and others to be the best they can be. He developed this passion when he saw his dad make sacrifices and overcome obstacles to improve the quality of his family’s lives. In his free time, Kevin is an avid nature photographer, plays competitive table tennis, and is a proud grandpa.
Kevin is a retired team lead, two-time Distinguished Toastmaster, and has served as a mentor for people in all walks of life. He has delivered keynotes in Australia, South Africa, and several cities across the United States. He speaks to audiences about overcoming obstacles in life, effective public speaking, and the keys to mentoring and being mentored.

Even though it does not rise to the level of adversity the people in my book faced and overcame, I have my own personal story of adversity where I utilized the same tools they did to overcome my biggest challenge in life. On March 13, 2018, I tipped the scales at 288 pounds. I was on blood pressure medicine, stopped breathing for short periods during the night, and was always tired and sore due to the excess weight I was carrying. Through proper diet, exercise, and a change in mindset, 17.5 months later, on September 27, 2019, I reached my target weight of 188 pounds, am no longer on any medications, and am feeling the best I have ever felt.
